1. Collect trusted reporting
Our private worker checks publisher-provided RSS and Atom feeds. A publisher must have an active trust profile before its reports can enter the public workflow.
2. Match the same event
Canonical URLs and content hashes remove exact duplicates. A separate similarity score compares titles, numbers, timing, and distinctive terms to group independent reports about the same event.
3. Create a grounded brief
The briefing service receives only the bounded source set for that event. It must paraphrase, separate agreement from uncertainty, and return structured facts. A cluster stays private if validation fails.
4. Put sources first
Every story shows the publisher, original headline, author when available, publication time, region, and outbound link. The public brief is a navigation and comparison layer—not a replacement for original journalism.
