What the cleaner removes
Links copied from social networks, newsletters and ads often carry tracking parameters that tell the site who shared the link and where it came from. The cleaner removes common ones such as utm_source, fbclid, gclid, mc_eid, igshid and si, and keeps the parts a page needs to load.
Unwrapping redirects
Search engines and social sites often wrap links in their own redirect, such as google.com/url?q=… or l.facebook.com/l.php?u=…. With unwrapping on, the cleaner takes out the real destination.
Questions
Do you see the links I paste?
No. Cleaning happens in your browser. Nothing is sent to our server.
The clean link doesn't work.
Some sites need a parameter to show the right page. Turn off "Remove every parameter" so only known trackers are removed.
