Share when you're busy, not what you're doing
Sharing a calendar to arrange a meeting often reveals much more than availability: meeting titles, client names, video-call links with passwords, addresses, phone numbers in descriptions and everyone else invited. Make a copy that shows only what you choose.
Options
- Busy times only: every event becomes "Busy" with its start, end and repeat pattern.
- Times and titles: adds event titles, nothing else.
- Choose: pick titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, meeting links and categories one by one.
- Limit calendars without recurring events to a date range. Recurring schedules are kept in full.
- Leave out "free" and cancelled events, and replace event IDs to remove their original identifiers.
How to export a calendar
Google Calendar: Settings → Import and export → Export (unzip it to get the .ics). Outlook: File → Save Calendar. Apple Calendar: File → Export → Export.
Questions
Is my calendar uploaded?
No. It's read and rebuilt in your browser.
Will the copy update itself?
No. It's a snapshot. Make a new one when your schedule changes.
