Read what an Android app declares
An APK contains a compiled AndroidManifest.xml. This inspector reads that binary XML to show the package name, declared permissions, minimum and target Android API levels, app flags and components. Only the manifest entry is decompressed; the app is never installed or run.
A requested permission can describe access to a camera, microphone, contacts, location or network. The actual access depends on Android’s rules, the app’s target version and the permissions a person grants. Some details point to resource IDs, which are displayed without resolving the resource table.
Permissions are not a safety verdict
A legitimate app can request sensitive permissions. An app with few permissions can still behave badly. This inspector does not analyze code, inspect traffic, verify the publisher signature or scan for malware. Compare the requested access with the app’s purpose and source before installing it.
