A new container without re-encoding the video
The server uses FFmpeg to copy the first video track into a new MP4 or MOV, remove known container metadata and chapters, and drop data tracks. You can also remove audio and subtitles. Copying the video stream preserves its encoded picture quality.
Files must be self-contained and no larger than 32 MB. Referenced files, playlists and external media are refused. Some codecs, older MOV layouts and subtitle formats cannot be copied into the output container. A job that exceeds 15 seconds stops.
Review the content as well as the file details
Faces, street signs, screen text, spoken names and location clues remain unless their tracks are removed or the picture is edited elsewhere. Technical information within encoded streams may survive. This tool does not promise removal of every possible metadata field.
Your video is uploaded to this server for processing. Input and output use private temporary files and are deleted after the request. Cancelling in the browser can stop the request while a job already received by the server finishes its bounded cleanup.
