Find text, then choose what to hide
Open a screenshot and choose Find text. The English OCR engine identifies word boxes in your browser. Review the list and select the words to cover. You can also drag rectangles or enter pixel coordinates for names, faces, codes or areas the text reader missed.
Recognition can miss small text, unfamiliar fonts and other languages. Inspect the full preview before downloading. A new PNG is drawn from the image with solid black rectangles over selected areas. The exported file does not contain the original pixels under those rectangles or the source image’s metadata.
Keep the original separately
The downloaded PNG cannot restore the covered parts. Text elsewhere in the image, QR codes, reflections and visible context can still disclose information. The original file stays on your device.
