Scan documents to PDF from photos

Crop, straighten, rotate and reorder page photos before making a PDF in your browser. Images are rebuilt from their visible pixels without copying the original photo metadata.

Up to 12 JPEG, PNG or WebP photos, 8 MiB each, 32 MiB together, 12 million pixels each and 48 million source pixels together. Select more photos to add pages. PDF export is limited to 40 million pixels in total.

Choose page photos to begin. Cropping is manual.

Each PDF page is a new image made from visible pixels. Original EXIF, location tags and filenames are not copied. Text, faces and details still visible in the photo remain. Check legibility before sharing. This tool does not detect document edges or correct perspective.

    Help with this task

Turn page photos into a PDF

Photograph each page square on in good light. Add the photos, select a page and adjust its rotation, straightening angle and crop percentages. Move pages up or down until the order is right, then make and download the PDF. The controls work with a keyboard as well as touch.

    Review the actual pages

Page images are rebuilt in your browser. The output does not copy original photo metadata, but it retains anything still visible in the picture, including names, signatures and location clues. Read each page at a useful size before sending it. The PDF contains page images, without OCR, selectable text or editable document fields.

Automatic edge detection and perspective correction are not included. Cropping uses a rectangle after rotation and straightening. Straightening can add white corners; crop them away if needed. Large pages are reduced to at most 4 million pixels for PDF export.
