One link for a group of files
The browser places selected files in a flat ZIP with safe, unique filenames. It does not change document contents or remove metadata inside the files. ZIP timestamps are reset to 1980-01-01 and the archive uses no compression, so the prepared size can be larger than the source files.
Prepare the bundle and review its file list before uploading. The existing encrypted-file service encrypts the ZIP and its name in this tab with a fresh random key. The server stores ciphertext, size, expiry and download counts. The key stays after # in the complete download link.
Anyone holding the complete link can open the bundle. The recipient must explicitly download and decrypt it. Expiry or the download limit removes the temporary copy; hosting backups may retain encrypted copies until their normal retention ends. Keep this tab open to use its deletion controls.
