Review audio before sharing it
Recording requires HTTPS, browser support and microphone permission. Recording starts only after you press Record. Stop, Clear audio and leaving the page turn off acquired microphone tracks. Recordings stop after two minutes or when the size limit is reached. A supported audio file is an alternative when recording is unavailable.
Prepare the audio to make playback available, then listen before pressing Encrypt and upload. The upload uses the existing encrypted-file format and temporary storage service. The key remains in the link fragment, and the server receives encrypted bytes rather than playable audio.
Encryption does not make a voice anonymous. Speech, accents, background sounds and existing audio-file metadata can reveal identity or location. The tool does not alter voices, scrub audio-file metadata or check what was said. Anyone with the complete link can download the audio.
